2024 Fine Arts  Contribution Recipient

Margarita Dager-Uscocovich was born in Guayaquil-1967 . Is a fiction writer whose work of poetry and short fiction stories has been promoted in United States thru independent events as well as internationally renowned literary magazines. Margarita Is also a self  taught artist whose works include what is called “pintado en Lana “ . Which is a craft that includes either wool or silk threads on a piece of painting embodied in a canvas prior to the creation. Label me Latin literary magazine and Art exhibitions by Queens University has been published Margarita’s pieces in both aspects.

Also, her art is colourful and mainly inspired by women. Hopefully she will soon get the opportunity to make some more art . At the moment is finishing her third novel .
