We are based in Charlotte, NC, and our mission is to foster creativity, provide education, and enhance community engagement through the arts. As part of our contribution package, we are seeking a talented graphic designer to help us visually communicate our mission and projects.

Job Description:
We are looking for a creative and motivated Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their design skills and a passion for the arts. This position involves creating visual content for various mediums, including our website, social media, promotional materials, and event branding.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop visually engaging content for Starving Arts’ website and social media platforms
• Design promotional materials such as flyers, posters, and brochures
• Create branding for events and fundraising campaigns
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure cohesive and impactful visual messaging
• Maintain and adhere to Starving Arts’ brand guidelines
• Provide creative input on projects and contribute to brainstorming sessions

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a graphic designer with a strong portfolio
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Knowledge of typography, color theory, and layout design
• Strong attention to detail and creativity
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
•  Experience working with non-profits is a plus, but not required
